During a spectacular evening in Montenegro, Amels played a pivotal role as the proud sponsor of the AcrewCrew Awards 2023. The event, attended by 500 captains, crew, and professionals, served as a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the seas who tirelessly navigate the world's oceans, ensuring unforgettable experiences for yacht Owners and their guests.

One of the ways we at Damen Yachting support ocean conservation is through the annual “London to Monaco” bike ride. For the sixth time, our most passionate bikers took to the saddle and pushed their pedals across Europe to encourage donations to the Blue Marine Foundation.

It’s no secret that at Damen Yachting we take great pride in our Dutch heritage, our craftsmanship and the inspiration we draw from the sea. So when we came across local artist Lilith de Jonge and her ‘inspired by the sea’ approach to her paintings, there was an immediate synergy. So much so that we asked her to turn her hand to creating the cover of that year’s Finest Moments (2022).

A chance for those out on the water to share their inspired moments captured on film. o show why our oceans, and the life within them, are worth loving and why the waters we all enjoy – as an office backdrop and or adventure playground – inspire us on so many levels.

Patricia Ricard has long had an affinity with the ocean. It’s a connection strengthened over years spent snorkelling, swimming and enjoying hot summer days at sea as a child with her siblings, cousins and grandfather, Paul Ricard, an industry leader and progressive environmentalist.

The impressive work of Carl Allen and his family is a well-documented story. However, what many people don’t know is, that in addition to all the work, investment and philanthropy the Allen family have dedicated to rebuilding Walker’s Cay, and helping surrounding islands in the Abacos, he’s been searching for the Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas – a legendary Spanish ship that sank in a storm in the area in 1656.
